Today Google announced its all-new iPhone challenger, the Nexus One ($179-529). The Nexus One is available now, with a 2 year T-mobile service agreement, for $179, or unlocked for $529. The phone was developed by HTC and comes packed with a 3.7-inch OLED display, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, 1 ghz processor, and 4 gigs of expandable memory. It even has a noise-canceling feature. Head on over to google.com and order one of these babies today. Also, the Nexus is coming to Verizon this spring. I just wish At&t would jump on board!

One of the most luxurious phones to date, the Motorola Aura ($2,000) starting shipping in the early part of last december. It is the world’s first phone to have a circular display, which partially explains the extremely high price. It also features a scratch resistant crystal face and a 16 million color display. If your looking to stand out in a crowd, especially a gadget-loving one like those that attend CES, than this is definitely the phone for you. The latest iPhone challenger to come to the table, the Palm Pre exclusively from Sprint comes equipped with many great features that allow it to contend with the legendary iPhone. The Pre runs on Palms all-new touch based OS and gives you a 3.1 inch touchscreen to work with. It also features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 8GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3-megapixel camera with an LED flash. It is slated to launch in the first half of 2009. Be PREpared!

If your car doesn’t have a factory installed bluetooth then look no further then the Bluetooth Cassette Tape Adapter ($40). With this handy Bluetooth receiver you’ll be making and receiving calls over your car stereo in no time. All you have to do is pair your phone with the tape deck and you’ll be connected for seamless audio playback. Let’s just hope someone wants to talk to you. 

The next iPhone contender has finally arrived. After some troubles with the latest firmware, RIM has got everything together and gave Verizon the thumbs up for launch. The Storm features a “clickable” touch screen which supposably caters to those people that hated the iPhone’s typing ability. After using the phone, to me, the clickable screen felt very similar to how the new Macbook’s clicking touchpad felt. The phone also comes with a built-in accelerometer, a 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in GPS and 1 gig of built in storage. Unfortunately, the phone is exclusively available from Verizon.
