Warhammer Online is the latest competitor in the race against WoW. Mythic Entertainment announced that they sold over 500,000 copys in their first week on the shelves. War is everywhere in Warhammer Online, the new MMORPG from the creators of Dark Age of Camelot. Based on Games Workshop’s popular Warhammer fantasy war game, WAR features a more PvP type experience versus WoW’s PvE/PvP gameplay.

One downside with the game that has been noticed is that the Destruction side is much more heavily populated than Order and is leading to  a landslide of victories in Destruction’s favor. If you are bored of WoW and are looking for something new then it is definitely worth checking out. And of course the first month is free.
